Q & A
are children allowed?
we adore your little ones and know how tough it can be to travel without them. children are warmly welcome at both our pre-boda welcome party and our post-boda goodbye lunch.
the wedding day itself will be an adults-only celebration. that said, if you're bringing your kiddos along, we want to make the experience as smooth as possible for families and will be providing a list of trusted local babysitters to help with care during the big day!
if you do plan to bring your children, we strongly recommend staying at the wedding venue as it’ll make everything easier and more comfortable for you on the day of the wedding.
can i bring a plus one?
as much as we wish we could accommodate everyone, we kindly ask that you refer to your invitation for details on whether you have a plus one. if you have any questions about plus ones, feel free to reach out to alia and chris!
what should i wear?
the dress code is colorful cocktail attire for our wedding day! think bright, bold, and fun, just like spring in spain. playful patterns, vibrant colors, and festive flair - dress up in whatever makes you feel great, and get ready to dance the night away!
when should i arrive?
the festivities kick off on the evening of wednesday, march 25th! we recommend arriving in toledo on wednesday so you can enjoy all of the pre-wedding fun with us.
if you're arriving in spain on thursday instead, no worries, just plan to get to toledo by thursday, march 26th, in time for the wedding ceremony!
where should i stay in spain?
we highly recommend staying on-site at cigarral de las mercedes. we’ve reserved the entire property just for our wedding guests, which means you’ll be right at the heart of the celebration all weekend long !
if you’d prefer to stay off-site, toledo has plenty of charming hotels and airbnb options just a short drive away.
you can find all the details (including how to book at the venue) on the where to stay page of our website.
how do i get to the venue?
there are a few easy ways to get to toledo from madrid! the high-speed train (renfe or trainline) will get you there in about 30 minutes. there are also reliable bus options (alsa or omio) that take just over an hour.
you can find links to all of these options, and more detailed travel info, on the where to stay page of our website.
